CERTIFICATIONS

Africa Institute of Waste Management and Environmental Studies (AIWMES) is offering Direct Professional Membership for Africans to be inducted as:

Eco- Mgt. Student (SMAIWMES)

Qualifications:

ND, HND/B.Sc. from a recognized University. A member of a recognized professional body. Working experience of not less than 0 – 6 years.

Eco- Mgt. Associate (AAIWMES)

Qualifications:

ND, HND/B.Sc., M.Sc., MPH, Ph.D., from a recognized University. A member of a recognized professional body. Working experience of not less than 0 – 6 years.

Eco- Mgt. Member (MAIWMES)

Qualifications:

HND/B.Sc., M.Sc., MPH, Ph.D., from a recognized University. A member of a recognized professional body. Working experience of not less than 7 – 14 years.

Eco- Mgt. Fellow (FAIWMES)

Qualifications:

The Fellowship of the Africa Institute of Waste Management and Environmental Studies (AIWMES) is a distinguished membership class reserved for outstanding individuals who have demonstrated highly remarkable professional achievements and contributions to the field of Waste Management and Environmental Studies. Election into this esteemed fellowship is conducted by the Governing Council, based on recommendations from renowned experts in the field and relevant committees.

Criteria for Fellowship:

1. Distinguished Professional Attainment: Evidence of outstanding contributions, leadership, and impact in waste management.
2. Expertise and Innovation: Demonstrated expertise and innovation in waste management practices, research, or policy development.
3. Service to the Profession: Significant service to the waste management profession, including mentorship, education, and community engagement.
